Welcome
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Headingley) online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available. We are a Christ-centered church where all the ministry of the baptized are truly celebrated.
Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would be happy to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbour.
SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES
are suspended for summer months. We will return to regular worship at 10:00 every Sunday morning
on September 8th.
Please join us.
Our Church
Holy Trinity is an Anglican Christian community.
Socially, our roots go back about one hundred and sixty years in this part of Manitoba.
Spiritually, our roots go back through the reformation to the earliest days of the undivided church.
Worship
Our church is led spiritually by two part-time priests. In addition, members of the congregation are actively involved in various ministry areas: worship and music, Sunday school, pastoral care and outreach.
We are a small church and consequently feel very much like a family. Everyone has an opportunity to be involved if they wish, in an area that they feel most interests them.
Community Engagement
The purpose of the church is not only to have worship services and bring people in...more importantly, we are to show the love of Christ in the community beyond the church. This means helping those around us, and Holy Trinity Headingley believes this to be a foundational Christian value.
Cemetery
The Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery is located on the church's original site, on the river, south of Portage Avenue at 82 Curry Drive. This is a Christian cemetery open to all.
We have recently erected four columbariums for people to inter their loved one's ashes.
For more information on the cemetery please contact Diane Trenholm at 204-955-8116 or htcemhly@shaw.ca
